AUSTRALIAN CERTIFICATES OF RECOGNITION FOR BHS VOLUNTEERS
Federal Member for Ballarat, Catherine King has today presented Australian Government Certificates of Appreciation for Australian Volunteers to 10 members of our community who volunteer at Ballarat Health Services.
“Volunteers are the backbone of our community,” Ms King said.
“Whether they be at schools, sports clubs, fire brigades, RSLs, senior citizens centres, libraries, or anywhere else, Ballarat would be a far worse place without volunteers”.
“Today we are recognising ten volunteers who have gone above and beyond this year, volunteering with Ballarat Health Services through the pandemic and beyond”.
“These volunteers have checked up on patients, supported staff and even made scrubs.”
“Our community cannot thank them enough for their selfless work.”
