MANUFACTURING MODERNISATION GRANTS FOR BALLARAT BUSINESSES
Five businesses across the Ballarat region have this week been awarded grants through the Manufacturing Modernisation Fund.
This funding will help local small and medium sized business to upgrade their facilities, becoming more competitive in the global market.
Successful businesses are:
· Paarhammer Windows and Doors who will receive $85,000
· Grounded Pleasures who will receive $100,000,
· Athlegen who will receive $100,000,
· C.E. Bartlett who will receive $100,000,
· Springhill Farms who will receive $280,875.
“Ballarat is full of wonderful, innovative businesses. It is great to see that these five business have been recognised for their ongoing success and will receive this funding to expand their operations”, Ms King said.
“As we go through tough economic times, we are seeing just how important businesses like these are to our communities and our region. Each of these businesses employs locals and put money back into our regional economy.”
“To remain competitive businesses need to continually innovate and grow. That is just what these businesses have been doing and, with the help of this funding, they will continue to do so.”
