UPGRADES AND SUPPORT FOR LOCAL SCHOOLS
Schools in the Ballarat area are benefiting from new or upgraded facilities and equipment, thanks to the Albanese Government’s investment in local schools.
Member for Ballarat Catherine King today visited Yuille Park Community College in Wendouree to see the new outdoor active space made possible with a grant from the Schools Upgrade Fund.
The fund has delivered $275,000 to local projects which include repairs or maintenance to school facilities, classroom refurbishment, the purchase or upgrade of ICT equipment or air-conditioning, and the construction or upgrade of outdoor learning spaces.
The following local schools received funding in this round:
· Forest Street Primary School
· Shelford Primary School
· Yuille Park P-8 Community College
· Daylesford Primary School
· Napoleons Primary School
· St Mary's School in Clarke’s Hill
· Creswick North Primary School
· Pleasant Street Primary School
· Our Lady Help of Christians School in Wendouree
· Yandoit Primary School
· Magpie Primary School
These projects and the Albanese Government’s ongoing investment in public and Catholic schools, are helping to build a better and fairer education system for students in the Ballarat electorate and across Australia.
