$3.3 million for new facilities at St Augustine's Primary School
Member for Ballarat Catherine King today visited St Augustine's Primary School in Creswick to announce $3,300,000 of funding from the Albanese Government’s Capital Grants Program.
The project will involve the construction of a new general learning area to be used for specialist subjects such as science, art and the school’s Japanese language program.
It is also planned to include new, fit for purpose administration and staff facilities.
These will be the first major works undertaken at the school since 2009.
Since its in establishment 165 years ago, St Augustine’s Primary School has been an integral part of the Creswick community. Some local Creswick families have had many consecutive generations of children learn and thrive at the school.
